Two voices rang out at once in completely different tones. Constantine sounded surprised, while Lucifer was furious. The next second, Constantine stretched out a hand and shouted, "Let's talk this out! Don't start fighting! I didn't do it on purpose last time!!!"
Lucifer took a deep breath and tried hard to calm himself. He said to Constantine, "Last time, while I was away, you trashed my bar and had those Magma Demons burn the place down. Afraid that I'd come after you, you hid at the edge of the spirit realm. Then you lured a pack of void demons into Hell and trashed my home too..."
By then, Schiller, lying in the hospital bed, had already picked up an apple from the nearby table and started munching on it. He had thought he was about to witness Constantine getting royally screwed over, but Lucifer took several deep breaths and said, "We'll settle the score after you die."
Constantine pushed his luck even further. He let out a long breath, smiled, walked over to Lucifer's side, and patted his arm. Then he looked at Schiller and asked, "You two know each other? I didn't know that."
