"Communists?" Lila and Kayla exchanged a glance, each seeing the confusion in the other's eyes. After all, they were the real communists. How had they never heard that the Quinn Group's heir was one of their comrades?
"What exactly is going on? Explain it clearly!" Kayla's tone turned cold, making it obvious how much she cared about the matter. Williams took a deep breath and said:
"I don't know the details, but I heard it was something about Marxism... Apparently, Young Quinn's college classmate said he'd read books on it and seemed to support that theory. Those are probably the kinds of books people in that country would read, right?"
Williams did not look particularly educated. Even pronouncing technical terms was difficult for him, so he was probably not making this up on the spot. Still, both Kayla and Lila narrowed their eyes. The Quinn family heir was a Marxist? Other thoughts arose in Kayla's mind.
"Are you sure?" Kayla asked again, beginning to pressure Williams. "This isn't a trivial matter. If even the Quinn family heir has been corrupted, that means there must be unsavory people around him. Who do you think is suspicious?"
"I really don't know!" Williams was almost in tears. "I don't even understand what kind of ism that is. I made my fortune through maritime shipping and barely read any books. I'm absolutely not suspicious..."
Kayla questioned him repeatedly, but Williams could not give any coherent answer. He had only heard about it in passing and did not even know the specifics, much less the cause and effect.
After warning Williams to keep his mouth shut, the two left the Quinn Group building. In the car, Kayla said, "I'm inclined to believe he was telling the truth. What about you?"
"Which part do you mean?"
