New York mornings were always brilliantly sunny. Light spilled through the bustling city along the skyline, rippling between skyscrapers. A red-and-blue figure also swung between the high-rises.
With a snap, a strand of web stuck to a glass curtain wall. Spider-Man swung low through the air, drawing waves of startled cries. As he swung high again, he curled up his limbs, thrust with his waist, and flipped forward hard, performing a stunt that drew cheers from the New York City residents below.
His figure soon vanished at the end of the street. The same scene played out on every street he passed through, until he drew closer and closer to the heart of New York City.
A web strand stuck to the Stark Tower sign. Spider-Man followed it to the top of the building, entered through the rooftop door, and went into a room specially reserved for him to change clothes. After Peter changed, he raced downstairs and into a laboratory.
Inside the lab, Stark was busy at an experiment bench. Connors sat at a nearby desk writing a paper on his computer, while Banner and Yinsen stood before a filing cabinet, quietly discussing a stack of documents.
With a bang, the door flew open and Peter rushed in. Everyone looked up at him. Peter threw both hands over his head and shouted:
"I'm in college!!!!"
Everyone glanced at him, then lowered their heads and went back to work. Peter froze. He waved his raised hands forcefully and said, "I'm a college student! I registered today! I even moved all my luggage into the dorm! Starting today, I'm going to college!"
The others still ignored him. Only Connors spoke while typing on his laptop. "New York University is closer to here. Come in earlier every day, and you'll make the
