Perhaps everyone except Helen saw Peter as a junior, so whenever Peter ran into trouble, their first thought was to join forces and find a solution for him.
But Helen had only been born a short while ago and spent most of her time in Stark Tower. Peter often came here to do experiments, and the two knew each other well. So Helen preferred to see Peter as a friend. When helping him solve problems, she was more inclined to offer ideas and let Peter carry them out himself.
The facts proved that this was highly effective. While meditating, Peter saw the source of this power of faith: a swarm of bats.
That made Peter think of the Bat Totem Schiller and the others had mentioned before. After he told Helen about it, she widened her eyes and said, "So you turned into a god who can gather faith?"
"Yeah, probably. It's more like a symbol..." Peter said uncertainly.
Helen looked thoughtful, but then she smiled. Peter felt a chill run down his back, because that smile looked exactly like Loki's.
Half an hour later, Peter, Helen, and Pikachu gathered together. Pikachu rubbed his little paws and looked at Helen. "You mean you want to use the Bat Totem's ability to acquire faith power, gather more of it, and store it?"
Helen nodded. "We don't know who is worshipping this totem, or why Peter became this totem. But there is one thing we can be sure of: this energy is useful—very useful."
"I was born able to use magic, so I can directly convert this faith power into magical energy. Since Peter received this faith power, his soul should have become capable of using magic too. As for you..."
After saying that, Helen ran over to Pikachu. She stood up
