After swallowing all the membership gifts for the next season in one gulp, the monster vanished instantly.
That was right—it vanished. Mephisto, beside himself with rage, detected no trace of teleportation, not even a soul aura. Such a massive monster had simply disappeared into thin air.
All the Demon Gods present were dumbfounded. Where were their membership gifts? Where had such a huge pile of membership gifts gone?
"Does that newcomer not understand the rules?!" one Demon God roared. "He actually dared to keep everything for himself?!"
"Where is he?!" Mephisto shouted. "As long as he is still in this universe, it is impossible for him to remain undetected. Find him!!"
"But I have never felt an aura like that!" another Demon God said. "Could he be a newly born Demon God? But how could a newborn Demon God be this strong?!!"
Mephisto took human form and was about to question The Ancient One, only to find her equally furious. Before Mephisto could speak, The Ancient One struck first. She lunged at him and said as she fought, "Mephisto! This is your doing again!"
"It wasn't me!!" Mephisto shouted. "Wasn't it you?! The Ancient One... you cunning bastard! You wanted to take everything for yourself from the start!!!"
Mephisto and The Ancient One both realized that the other's surprise and fury did not seem faked. But if neither of them had done it, then who had?
In an instant, both of them turned their gazes toward Odin and the others. Nothing had gone wrong last time, so why had a monster suddenly appeared to snatch all the gifts the moment Asgard showed up?
Odin had no time to argue with Mephisto. Helen's disappearance was a serious matter. Every Asgardian still at the scene was busy searching for the child.
