"I don't understand what you're talking about," Superior Spider-Man replied.
"It's okay. That counts as an answer too." Schiller smiled again, patted Superior Spider-Man on the shoulder, then passed him and walked toward where he had just landed.
At that moment, a very short Spider-Man with a pig nose ran in carrying a child. He shouted, "Spider-Girl! Come deal with your brother! He won't stop crying!"
"Oh! Benjamin! He... he probably needs his diaper changed. Wait for me..." Spider-Girl immediately jumped down from the pillar. She no longer had time to deal with Amazing Spider-Man and hurried over to the short Spider-Man, taking the child from his arms.
Holding the child she called Benjamin, Spider-Girl kept soothing him. Hearing the baby's cries, the Spider-Men all quieted down. They gathered around Spider-Girl, teasing her brother and trying to comfort him so he would stop crying.
Spider-Girl held Benjamin and sighed. "All right, we should get back to business. Where were we?"
Amazing Spider-Man stood beside her and said, "I'm sorry. I know you loved your father. He..."
"Stop." Spider-Girl cut him off and stressed again, "I said we should get back to business now. That would be the best tribute to him!"
Meanwhile, Schiller saw several shadows appear behind Superior Spider-Man. Soon, even more Spider-Men emerged, more than Schiller had expected.
There were at least a dozen Spider-Men behind Superior Spider-Man. Some wore vests, some were entirely black, some looked like Deadpool, and one crouched on the ground with a monkey tail.
Even Schiller could not identify every one of them, but he stepped back and made room for Superior Spider-Man. Only then did Amazing Spider-Man notice the other group had arrived.
Amazing Spider-Man stepped to the front of the crowd, while Superior Spider-Man stood before the other group of Spider-Men.
