Peter had no idea what was going on. He shouted at Superior Spider-Man, who was attacking him, "What are you trying to do?!"
Superior Spider-Man said nothing. He merely kept attacking Peter with sharp tentacles. The two weaved and leaped between the hall's massive pillars as Peter ran and shouted, "I'll say it again! If you attack me one more time, I'm fighting back!"
"Stop attacking me! I'm really going to fight back!!" Peter continued. "Can't you hear me talking?!"
Spider-Gwen nudged Amazing Spider-Man with her elbow and said, "I never thought he'd be even more naive than you."
"I'm surprised too." Amazing Spider-Man stood with his hands on his hips, watching the situation overhead. "Was I like that when I first started college?"
At that moment, another Spider-Man stepped out of the crowd. His voice was completely different from Peter's, more weathered and mature. His movements were less fluid, and compared to a superhero, he looked more like an ordinary person. But the moment Amazing Spider-Man heard his voice, he immediately turned toward him.
"You were exactly like that, Peter. Back then, you hated fighting and said football was a barbaric sport. Your aunt and I were always worried that you'd be bullied..."
