When Lucifer was driven into a fury by Schiller's harassing phone calls, he instantly forgot his wish to become an ordinary person. Instead, following the truth and origin of the world, he tried to find Schiller so he could curse him out and take his feather back while he was at it.
Yet after searching through the origins of the entire DC Universe, he found no trace of Schiller. This was very strange. As long as a life-form belonged to that universe, it should have been impossible for it to escape Lucifer's notice.
Since that search yielded nothing, he began sensing the power of his feather. He could feel it, but it was not within the DC Universe. Lucifer sensed the feather's aura coming from beyond the Origin Wall.
