Earlier, when facing the formidable enemy Solus, all the Spider-Men had been extremely tense. None of them had the time to care where Schiller was, what he was saying, or what he was doing. Captain Universe Spider-Man was no exception. Solus had nearly drained his soul dry. How could he have had time to watch Schiller?
But on second thought, the chaotic brawl that had taken place in the Superior Spider-Man universe had not merely failed to align with Eternity's goals. It had done the exact opposite.
Every Schiller had entered with a signature line, shouted loudly enough to echo throughout the universe. Once the fighting began, their bizarre remarks never stopped. Each of them displayed the defining traits of their role to the fullest.
Especially the ones who spoke Japanese. They barely had any moves, but they screamed the names of their techniques at the top of their lungs. The fights lasted only a few rounds, while the flashbacks went on for hours.
Then there were the strange animals. Whenever they spoke, they absolutely refused to call themselves "I." They had to include the name of their role. At that point, there was no way to hide it even if they wanted to.
And that was indeed what had happened. When Eternity followed the rapidly declining stability readings to the Superior Spider-Man universe, all that remained were the lines spoken by the various Schillers as they made their exits.
