At the edge of the Marvel Universe, the Cosmic Cube—and Schiller within it—vanished outright. Eternity stood frozen in place.

At his level, he naturally could not sense the existence of DC's God, so he had no idea what had happened.

Logically, Schiller's disappearance should have made him happy, but for some reason, he felt a chill run down his back.

With no other choice, Eternity could only ask OAA what he meant. Yet OAA intended to leave directly, and Eternity hurried after him. "What about Schiller?"

"Leave him to you," OAA replied.

"But... what about the Cosmic Cube?"

"Leave that to him," OAA replied again.

And so, amid utter silence, Eternity watched his own boss depart. Never before had he felt the winds of the universe to be so cold, leaving him haggard and disheveled.

Suddenly, he shuddered. A presence he knew all too well reappeared within the universe, and Schiller's voice echoed through the cosmos:

"Eternity, I'm here to negotiate terms!!"

Eternity was now certain that he truly possessed something called blood pressure. Otherwise, there was no explaining the feeling that his brain was about to explode.

Eternity suddenly felt as though he had developed a respiratory system as well. He took several deep breaths, then dragged Schiller into the Temple of Eternity and asked, "What exactly do you want???"

"Don't be angry. Calm down. I know you want to kill me right now, but you can't. Otherwise, you can try."

"I am the universe itself! I can erase you from the universe!!"

As soon as Eternity finished speaking, light flashed around him. Light flashed around Schiller too, and then... nothing happened.

With a buzz, a halo lit up above Schiller's head.

He raised one hand and pointed at the halo. "This is the payment an old father gave
