Time always passed quickly during discussions. Before they knew it, the interns' time to leave had arrived. The three of them had basically reached a consensus on the goals of Gotham's reform, which was already tremendous progress.
By dusk, Alberto's personality had gone back to rest, and Evans resurfaced. He glanced down at his watch and said, "Sorry, Professor, but I may have to leave. There are still things waiting for me to handle."

After Evans left, Bruce showed no intention of leaving. He looked at Schiller and asked, "What exactly is this unbeatable hand you mentioned? My research ability?"
"Of course." Schiller answered as he closed the door. Bruce frowned and asked, "Why?"
"Because of your genius, of course." Schiller returned to his desk and sat down, while Bruce remained where he was, saying nothing as he waited for Schiller's next words.
"Let's discuss technology, not ethics. If resources were sufficient, would you be confident in supporting all humanity?" Schiller asked.
Bruce frowned. "I don't want to rule the Earth. I don't want to become the king of humanity or control every resource on this planet."
"Why?" Schiller asked.
"Because I don't want to become Macbeth." Bruce met Schiller's gaze. "Unlimited power is the same as having no power. Once power reaches its peak, there's nothing left."
Schiller sighed. "Rule? No..."
"If you could gather every resource the entire Earth provides, then you could use your scientific abilities to turn the whole planet into a system. Through technological means, you could distribute all supplies evenly and thereby support humanity."
