Standing on the roof of Mercury Base and watching the flowing solar particles, Stark turned to Schiller and asked, "Who do you think was right, the Skrull or the Kree?"
"The Skrull said they merely wanted to build the universe. They were the ones who gave, yet received nothing in return. On the contrary, they suffered enormous losses in the Thousand Year War, while the Kree were shameless thieves and traitors."
"The Kree believed the Skrull's aid to other civilizations threatened their living space. They seized Skrull technology only to protect themselves, and those so-called grand ideals were merely excuses for satisfying hegemony."
"They each had their own story. Who do you think was right?"
"Perhaps they were both right?" Schiller also looked toward the sun. "Impure ideals and impure people were destined to create tragedy."
"The Cotati and Kree's greed for technology and resources, along with the Skrull's Pride in believing they could determine the course of the universe, together created this tragedy."
Schiller suddenly smiled, as if he had thought of something amusing. Looking at Stark, he said, "Let me ask you: if one day, an advanced civilization like the Skrull arrived above Earth and displayed its limitless power..."
