Zatanna tilted her head and looked at Batman. "That's right. The entrance marker is obvious. If we check every room, won't we find it?"

Batman recalled the building map he had seen. "Setting aside whether this building holds any other secrets, or how we're supposed to deal with Schiller, the psychopath who's been chasing us—do you know how many floors and rooms this building has?"

"How many?" Zatanna asked.

"If that map was accurate, this building has nine floors, with at least ten wards on each floor. Counting the functional rooms, storage rooms, and Tool Rooms, we'd have to check over a hundred rooms before we might find the room that leads out."

"That's not that many." Zatanna shrugged. "It's not some skyscraper with hundreds or thousands of rooms. Besides, the layout here is simple. We only need to push open each door and take a look; we don't have to go inside. Checking a hundred rooms should only take a few hours, right?"

"Then we may need to consider the one who's been chasing us—"

Batman stopped abruptly. All three of them heard a sharp clacking sound coming from the stairwell. After a momentary pause, they all broke into a run with perfect coordination.

"Seriously, can't we try defeating him?" Constantine asked as he ran. "The three of us working together should be enough, shouldn't it?"

"We do have a chance of succeeding," Batman said as he ran. "But you have to consider the consequences if we fail."

"We don't know where the Schillers from the Mind Palace have gone, but they could return at any time. If we get held up and Schiller's main force finds us, what do you think will happen?"
