Elsewhere, the Underworld Ship, carrying a whole shipload of Schillers, followed the scent of the cursed soul to a palace woven from Vines. The great ship showed no intention of stopping until it was blocked by endless thick Vines.
"The Green, I'm not here to negotiate." Marvel Schiller leaped down from the prow and said, "You shouldn't have entered Gotham to find an agent. More importantly, you shouldn't have entered Gotham University."
"Do you know what the plant mutations you controlled did? They turned my estate and flowerbeds into a complete mess. With gardeners in short supply, the repairs are definitely going to cost a lot of money. You have to pay the bill..."
A cold snort came from midair, and countless Vines lashed toward him. Yet in Queen of May's sight, a great many people suddenly poured out from that not particularly large ship.
Countless Schillers jumped from the ship and began attacking the Vines with all manner of methods.
Queen of May was indeed part of The Green, but only a part. She was nowhere near as powerful as the entirety of The Green. Watching a whole truckload of Schillers climb down from the ship, even she felt some pressure.
More importantly, she found the situation utterly baffling. She had no idea why this madman had turned against her. From beginning to end, she had not understood what Schiller was talking about.
"Are you insane?" Queen of May asked in a puzzled tone. "Why exactly are you chasing after me?"
"You know perfectly well what you did." Marvel Schiller said. "Just because your invasion of Gotham failed doesn't mean you don't have to pay the price. Otherwise, everyone could come in here whenever they wanted, destroying the buildings and gardens. That is my property..."
