Merkel, standing behind him, looked as though his eyes were about to pop out, but he reacted quickly and immediately stepped forward. "My apologies, agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. My employer is in the midst of a mental illness episode. He must be taken to a hospital for treatment first..."
