Batman closed his eyes. He felt himself falling, plunging into the vast sea of knowledge within his mind.

Schiller had a tower-like Mind Palace, and so did Batman.

He stored all the knowledge he had learned in a colossal library, sorted into categories. As he leaped from the top of that library, the essence of human knowledge enveloped him.

One historical scene after another flashed before his eyes: the Enlightenment, the Paris Commune, the October Revolution... Figure after figure stood amid the crowds and delivered speeches, leaving him dazzled.

Looking across all of history, every dramatic upheaval, ancient or modern, had been guided by ideas. Those pioneers stirred hearts with their words and pointed the way forward. What truly resonated with people had always been the great ideals they spoke of.

After truly experiencing life at the bottom, Batman knew that saving Gotham was not as simple as using his own money to support everyone. One day, he too would die.

He could not be a king who handed a Dynasty down to the next generation, because the laws governing dynasties told Batman that it was a vicious cycle. Perhaps the founder would be ambitious and determined, but the next generation, and the generation after that... After several generations, the dragon slayer would become the dragon.

But to save Gotham in spirit and soul, to awaken people from their numbness, they needed an ideal as radiant and magnificent as the sun, as well as a strong and powerful guiding philosophy.

Could he create such an ideology?

Batman did not know. His brilliant mind could solve nearly every technical problem in the world in an instant, but whenever philosophy, sociology, or psychology was involved, he always felt out of his depth.
