Deep within Obsidian Prison,
Drip, drip~ Liquid was actually dripping inside what should have been a dry prison.
Moreover, the liquid was somewhat viscous. Under a microscope, one would find a type of "fungus" with tongues contained within it.
Once the liquid came into contact with a living being, these tongue-like fungi would immediately latch on, attempting to "restore" the individual to their original living state.
A dark-skinned girl lay unconscious in the prison, one arm severed. After part of her body was moistened, she slowly began to awaken.

Megin suddenly woke up, only to find a gray-haired young man crouching beside her, trying to smear saliva over the site of her severed arm.
"Master, why are you here? This saliva is..."
"My teacher is helping heal my body, and he healed you while he was at it... But your severed arm doesn't seem to show any signs of regenerating.
My teacher's healing methods are exceptionally skilled. He's probably the best in the Mid-level Zone, yet even he can't do it?"
Megin shook her head. "My soul has shattered. Ordinary restoration is useless. That's why the Overlord decisively abandoned me and chose to adapt to a new weapon instead.
Soul repair is already an extremely difficult matter. On top of that, my arm was completely destroyed on the spot, and its soul was annihilated.
To recover it, the soul would have to be reshaped... That's nearly impossible."
"The soul of the entire arm shattered? What if I gave you another arm? A complete one, one with a soul, then used my teacher's saliva to attach it. Could that possibly work?"
