Not long after Luo Di and the others left the Jiang residence.

Boom!

Thunder roared, and rain poured down.

Old Master Jiang, who should have remained seated atop the Golden Toad to preserve his body for as long as possible, instead rose alone and walked outside.

The downpour carried Yin Energy, which should have benefited a zombie. Yet when the raindrops fell on Old Master Jiang, even such light washing still stripped away his flesh and shortened the time his body could remain usable.

Watching chunks of flesh fall from his body, Old Master Jiang seemed to have made some kind of decision.

At that moment, the servants responsible for attending to him hurried after him. They carried an enormous paper umbrella, intending to shield their master from the wind and rain.

But the moment they approached, something seized them by the throats.

Looking closely, the Yin Energy surrounding Old Master Jiang had actually formed claw-like structures, tearing the servants apart and swiftly turning them into a zombie umbrella.

"A bunch of useless trash! You came so late... There is no need for the Jiang residence to continue existing. As long as I survive, that is enough."

Holding the zombie umbrella, Old Master Jiang continued forward. He left the courtyard and made his way to the entrance of the Jiang residence, stopping beneath the enormous archway.

Between the downpour,

A black umbrella gradually emerged,

And a familiar figure slowly came into view. Beneath that black umbrella stood the man who had previously attacked the Jiang residence—the founding Guild Leader of the Humanity Expo.

The same mink coat, the same waterproof boots. But instead of a hatchet or curved blade, he held a golden cane resembling a human spine.
