It was the same familiar living room, as if every dream born of deep unconsciousness brought Luo Di here.
He simply could not realize it. Even at his current level, he was still unable to realize that he was dreaming.
He got out of bed as usual,
washed up, used the toilet, ate the noodles his mother had cooked, then headed to school with his backpack on.
Dark clouds blanketed the sky, as though last night's darkness had not yet had time to fade.
A notice at the bus stop announced that service had been suspended for the day. Luo Di could only run to school instead, but before he had gone far, he heard a strange sound.
It was like cheerful circus music, yet mixed with a little static and odd noises.
He turned his head to look.
The depths of the alley were packed with people. Through the gaps in the crowd, he could vaguely see someone very important to him, someone he could not ignore.
He ran over and squeezed through the crowd.
At the center was a prize-drawing stall run by a clown, with four large Gift Boxes placed on the table.
All one had to do was spin the prize wheel beside it. If the pointer landed on the entry marked [Winner], they could open any one Gift Box.
Judging by the portion occupied by the winning entry, however, the odds were only around 2%.
"Prize draw! Free prize draw! There are four prizes in total... Since you cut in line and look so familiar, student, I'll let you go first!"
Luo Di responded without hesitation and spun the wheel with all his strength.
Yet once it started turning, the wheel that had previously been filled mostly with thank-you-for-participating entries seemed to have turned entirely
