The journey to Light Castle was long. This area, located on a level 180 map, required them to first travel from the level 140 Moonscar Stronghold to a level 170 map, then run for over an hour across the level 170 map and pass through a great canyon to reach it.
Along the way, Lu Yang ran while ordering all the Blood Wolves to open the Sims system and purchase animal traps and sacks. Those were all items used to catch wild boars.
Holy Light Boars were a newly added type of wild monster. They did not know how to attack and fled whenever they encountered players. Killing them yielded five times the experience, and players could also harvest excellent boar meat that sold for a high price.
But that was not the best use for Holy Light Boars. The ideal method was to capture them, bring them back to a farm, and have them breed with ordinary boars to produce second-generation boars.
Second-generation boar meat was the richest and most delicious. Once raised to maturity, it could be sold at a very high price, only slightly cheaper than some rare pets.
The problem was that Holy Light Boars were difficult to catch. Though they looked slow and foolish, they moved incredibly fast. If a single player chased one, it would flee in a random direction. Catching them required a large number of players working together.
The best approach was to have tens of thousands of players intercept them from three directions, forcing the boars in the area toward trap-laden locations. Once they stepped into an animal trap, they would be restrained, after which they could be stuffed into the special sacks bought from the Sims system. That counted as a successful capture.
