Just as Lu Yang was meditating in place, he suddenly heard motorcycles speeding outside. He immediately activated the surveillance cameras around the house, and five figures appeared on the basement computer screen.
"They're all old acquaintances," Lu Yang said with a sneer.
The visitors were none other than the Temple Organization, which had always wanted to kill Lu Yang. Among them were Wang Li, Wang Qiang, and three people he had never seen before, who were likely new apprentices recruited by the Temple Organization.
"Let's rest in the house before we continue. What a pain," Wang Li grumbled.
They parked their motorcycles outside the abandoned house and walked inside. There were countless footprints on the floor, but Lu Yang was not worried that they would notice anything. Whenever someone came out of the base, they passed through this house to rest, so there was no telling how many footprints had accumulated here.
Wang Li and the others gave the place a cursory glance and paid no further attention. The three Level 1 mages cleared out a clean area for Wang Li and Wang Qiang to rest.
Wang Qiang was as strong as Wang Li, also a Level 4 Fire Mage, and one of the Wang family's core members.
"What rotten luck. Some lousy academy organization showed up and instantly destroyed the Temple's reputation. Now we have to come out and kill high-level monsters to restore the Temple's prestige. What a bore,"
