A month—an entire month.
When all three million people in the Underground City sprang into action, the efficiency was astonishing. More than five million arrows were produced.
There were over eight thousand warrior-class members in the Iron Blood Brotherhood, and all of them had learned basic archery. They might not have been able to hit a specific target on their own, but they had no problem unleashing powerful attacks across an area.
During this time, the Iron Blood Brotherhood's master blacksmiths also created another weapon—the Serpentbone Sword.
When hunting three-headed snakes and two-headed snakes, they often encountered giant serpents over two meters long, Demonized Venomous Snakes of at least first-order level six. After killing them, the blacksmiths discovered that their bones were extremely hard, even harder than ordinary steel.
At first, someone suggested turning the snake bones into clubs. After further discussion, they decided to make spears and swords from them. After some experimentation, they actually succeeded.
Once the snake bones were broken into sections, sharpened, and fitted together with specially made slots, they formed a longsword.
They were lighter than steel, yet sharper than those supposedly iron-cleaving treasured swords. A single slash could cut through an iron plate one centimeter thick, requiring only the normal chopping strength of an adult man.
That was rather terrifying. Since the Serpentbone Swords were so sharp, Lu Yang ordered the master blacksmiths to accelerate production. Now, each of the eight thousand warriors had one.
Some of the excess materials were made into spears. The shafts were forged from refined steel, while the spearheads were sharpened snake bones.
When they encountered Dark Demons, setting aside the power of the Serpentbone Swords and Serpentbone Spears themselves, simply coating their spear tips and blades with snake venom would make them no weaker than bows and arrows.
