Boskater's face remained hidden beneath his blue robe, and no one knew what expression he wore. He said solemnly, "As you command, City Lord."
This was the first time Boskater had acknowledged Agunan's status. Clearly, from this point on, Boskater would fully side with Agunan, and his alliance with Black was considered over.
Watching this unfold, Old Twilight inwardly praised Agunan. That move had been truly effective. Nothing could possibly go wrong on this trip to Baishan City. A few perfunctory words had driven two titans apart—it was more than worth it!
On a large tree laden with wind and snow in the distance, the face on its trunk gradually vanished. Meanwhile, inside Baishan City, Sara stopped casting her spell. The Elf Race's senior members, including Rustafa and Algayer, all let out sighs of regret.
"Agunan is still too cautious. If he had dared to come within thirty kilometers, before the other two races arrived, we really could have worked with the Ogre Race and Hasta Race to eliminate them," Rustafa said regretfully.
In the mountains flanking Baishan City, the Hasta Race and Ogre Race had each assembled ninety thousand troops and hidden them there. The two clan chiefs, both impatient to marry Sara, wanted to win this war as quickly as possible.
