At the foot of Gold Mountain in Tiger Head Town, the three undead races and the three elf races had been fighting for four hours. Because the 10,000 Hasta Race warriors led by Tatar and Bin Lei, along with the 10,000 Ogre Race warriors, had been ambushed and slaughtered, Valadok and Ayaris had launched a mad retaliation, attacking without leaving any room for mercy.
More than 40,000 second-tier combatants had died between both sides. One-third of the third-tier Demon-Grade experts had fallen, while all twenty-four fourth-tier experts had moved to an open area ten kilometers away from the battlefield.

Spells of every element flew through the sky, with ice-element spells dominating. This gave the three undead races a tremendous advantage, because Boskater and Black beside Agunan were both ice-element users, and the two Spirit-Grade experts brought by Bruke of the Troll Race were ice-element users as well.
On the elf side, Rustafa had only Boar, a fake ice-element Spirit-Grade expert, behind him. The Ogre Race had two ice-element experts, while the Hasta Race was entirely fire-element and knew no ice-element spells at all.
In weather like this, the more advanced an ice-element spell was, the greater its power. Agunan's side continually launched ice-element attacks through their four ice-element experts, forcing Rustafa's side into passive defense.
Fortunately, Valadok and most of the Spirit-Grade experts behind him were fire-element melee warriors, while Rustafa and Algayer also excelled at close combat. After a fierce struggle, Rustafa's group found an opportunity to engage at close range, greatly narrowing the gap between them. Even so, if this continued, they would still be the ones to lose.
