Lu Yang was somewhat surprised. He secretly asked the Blazing Demon God, "Why did this guy suddenly become so enthusiastic toward me? Could it be that other races in this world have also used the Chaos Flame?"
The Blazing Demon God frowned in thought, then suddenly cursed furiously, "The Darkfire Clan! I never thought my subordinate race was still alive. That lowly bastard Fandier must have pledged himself to a new god. Otherwise, his tribe should have perished alongside me long ago."
Lu Yang had no way to ease the Blazing Demon God's pain. Betrayal by a subordinate race was the hardest to bear. One could imagine how many benefits they had received by becoming the Blazing Demon God's subordinate race, yet not everyone could accept such betrayal.
Lu Yang told the Blazing Demon God, "Sooner or later, they'll get what they deserve. Believe me."
The Blazing Demon God nodded and said nothing more.
Lu Yang continued following Lordos as they flew southwest of the Fire Demon Clan. Before long, a towering mountain appeared in the distance. At its summit was an enormous Volcanic Crater, and the smoking volcano looked as if it could erupt at any moment.
At the foot of the volcano stood a massive city built from red and black stone. The city was filled with red-skinned creatures whose bodies burned with flames, and they looked quite similar to Lordos.
"Honored guest, please follow me to the royal palace." Lordos led Lu Yang into the castle.
As soon as they landed, a group of Fire Demon Clan servants approached Lordos with scepters and cloaks, helping him change into a fresh set of attire.
Lordos whispered a few words to a servant beside him. The servant left, then returned shortly afterward carrying a box.
"My friend, this is
