Lu Yang was still inside the space within Bandalsburg Prison, and Duree's body was still burning. Nothing unusual happened, aside from Duree's unwilling screams.

Wails filled with hatred kept ringing in Lu Yang's ears. He initially thought the second trial was sound, but after sitting cross-legged in place for roughly a full day and night, Duree's voice did not change at all. Other than the flames consuming his body growing fiercer, there was almost no difference.
Lu Yang grew curious. He vaguely sensed that something was wrong with this second illusion. The Blazing Demon God had told him that he could not remain trapped in an illusion for more than a month, or he would be permanently imprisoned within it, unable to escape.
He had already wasted a day, yet he had only broken through the second illusion. At this rate, breaking all thirty-three illusions would likely take more than a month.
Lu Yang grew anxious and began carefully studying everything around him. Yet he discovered that every object was exactly the same as in the real Bandalsburg Prison. Even when he had the White Sun attack a certain spot, the attack truly appeared. The temperature of the flames could not be faked.
Lu Yang had even nearly gone underground to check on the Phoenix Divine Soul, but he forcibly restrained himself. He was certain that anything he thought of within the illusion could be watched by Duree. Since that was the case, he would never expose his trump card.
Yet another day passed, and Lu Yang still found no way to break the illusion.
