On the ground at the North Pole of the other world, the Black Spirit Race chief and the Moon Goddess's guards finally arrived. But the moment they got there, the wolf-shaped Main God frowned and said, "Damn it, they hid underground."
"Go after them." A Main God radiating white light all over his body impatiently tried to descend underground. But the moment he reached the cave entrance, the immense divine power coating his body suddenly flew away, swept deep into the cave by a strange force of attraction. His true form was revealed—eight arms, six legs, and a face so handsome even humans would envy it.
He was the offspring of a Cloud Mist Demon and an Abyss Demon, a new race of sorts. He possessed the beauty and mastery over Dark Moon spells of the Cloud Mist Demons, as well as the terrifying physical qualities and control over shadow spells of the Abyss Demons. Though his Cloud Mist Demon mother had despised him, the Crescent Moon God had taken notice of him, personally training him to the Main God Tier and naming him Tanmuen.
The wolf-shaped Main God was called Wolf. He pulled Tanmuen back and asked with a frown, "What happened?"
"Damn it, there's something strange in this cave. My divine power was actually sucked away." When Tanmuen had prepared to enter the cave, he had done so in combat form, with his divine power already released over the surface of his body, ready to strike down any Ancient God Race members he found. Yet in that instant, more than one-fifth of his divine power had been absorbed.
Wolf and the other Main Gods all frowned. They moved closer to the cave entrance and examined it carefully, but they too failed to escape Tanmuen's fate.
