Lu Yang suddenly conjured two warhammers in his hands and slammed them into the ground. In an instant, he smashed out a small pit thirty centimeters wide and one meter deep. Then, a long, narrow crack appeared along the edge of the pit, stretching straight to the edge of the swamp.
The mud already filled the swamp. With an extra gap now open, it immediately flowed in and filled the pit in less than a minute.
"What are you doing?" Gorman asked in confusion.
Lu Yang smiled and raised his twin hammers, taking turns striking the pit. When the hammers hit the mud, no sludge splashed up. Instead, the mud was compacted together.
This was the method the Grand Prince had taught Lu Yang. Just as Paine had said, this mud absorbed every kind of element except physical force. That was also why Aigulie had been able to beat Gorman and Paine into submission: the mud feared physical attacks.
The greater the force, the more tightly the mud was compressed. This was because there was no water within it, only Earth Power. It looked like mud, but in truth, the Earth Power was so abundant that it had mixed with the special underground stone, creating an unstable state.
Hammering it could quickly fuse the Earth Power perfectly into the stone and stabilize it. Yet once it stabilized, it could no longer be shaped. Therefore, the only opportunity was to forge it into the desired form at the instant the Earth Power bonded with the stone.
Neither Gorman nor Paine had expected the mud in the region where they lived to be reshaped in such a way. Both became curious and gathered beside Lu Yang to watch.
A pit of mud thirty centimeters wide and one meter deep was ultimately hammered
