"Slash!!" The twin-bladed man's face twisted savagely. He bent low, shattered the sound barrier once more, and charged at Wei He.
But twice the speed of sound was clearly far from enough to make the now-serious Wei He take him seriously.
After only a few seconds of continuous slashing, the man was once again struck by the immense recoil, his body trembling as he staggered backward.
Before he could retreat very far, Wei He vanished from before his eyes.
Squelch.
A hand pierced through his chest and crushed his heart, then slowly withdrew.
The twin-bladed man stood rigidly in place as the colors swiftly drained from his eyes.

Wei He flashed, already appearing far away beside the two women.
"Let's go. Time for the next stop."
Though he had just dealt with three attackers, he did not feel the slightest sense of relief.
Those three truly carried Eldest Senior Sister's aura, and it had been quite dense.
But—
Wei He faintly had a guess in his heart.
"That's it??" Ersha gazed toward the battlefield from afar, but it had ended so quickly that she had seen nothing at all.
"Let's go."
Wei He took the lead toward the vehicle.
Seeing this, Ersha turned back for another look toward the battlefield. There was nothing there except three corpses lying on the ground.
Gradually losing their warmth.
