History
Early life and Huishan Fist
Wei He arrived in a chaotic world and spent his first months struggling to support his impoverished family. He was the Wei family’s only son, with two elder sisters, Wei Chun and Wei Ying; Wei Chun’s work for the Blackwater Gang was the household’s primary protection and stability 1.
After selling a Boundary-Breaking Pearl, Wei He enrolled at Old Man Zheng’s Huishan Fist training ground. When Chen Biao harassed Wei Ying, Chen withdrew upon seeing Wei He in the Zheng training uniform; Wei He then moved himself and Wei Ying into the training courtyard for safety 3. He trained while maintaining tutoring work and relied on food, medicine, and later exotic-beast meat to accelerate the Pearl’s accumulation 4 5.
Under Zheng Fugui, Zhao Hong, and Cheng Shaojiu, he learned Huishan Fist’s conditioning, offensive routines, defensive movements, and Internal Cultivation Method. His early progress culminated in the Ox Hide and Stone Hide levels 4 6 10 33.
Heavenly Seal Sect and the Myriad Poison Sect
Wei He later joined the Heavenly Seal Sect, became branch leader of the Yubei Town Heavenly Seal Hall, and was responsible for guarding the sect’s local industries 121. He developed a reputation for exceptional combat ability, poison knowledge, discretion, and ruthlessness; the Chijing Army eventually described him as “cruel, bloodthirsty, cunning, skilled in poison, and fast” on a wanted poster 170.
During the sect’s collapse and its conflict with the Chijing Army, Wei He rose to lead Wan Qing Court. Wan Ling yielded the position of Court Head to him, and he organized the evacuation of the court’s books and people 180. He subsequently took control of the Heavenly Seal Sect’s surviving forces, renamed them the Myriad Poison Sect, and built the group into a prosperous, heavily defended mountain stronghold 266 384.
As Sect Master, he reduced the Myriad Poison Sect’s public profile once its poison and medicine trade had accumulated sufficient resources. The sect became largely self-sufficient, with a mountain-city headquarters capable of housing thousands, while retaining covert channels for intelligence 269.
Xuanmiao Sect and Great Yue
Wei He joined the Xuanmiao Sect and became one of its most closely supported talents. Yuan Du Zi provided him with double the ordinary newcomer resources, while other sect members considered him a potential Dao Seed-level talent 350 370. He later became one of the Three Heroes of the Mountain Lock lineage and earned a reputation for completing difficult sect missions through overwhelming strength and the Five Revolutions Dragon Breath 397.
Traveling to Great Yue under the identity Wang Xuan, Wei He joined the Burning Heaven Army Department. Ziyin recognized his dual top-tier aptitude, introduced him to Marshal Li Rong’s faction, and helped arrange his cultivation path within the military 443 445. He concealed his true strength with Dingkong Lan while cultivating True Blood and secretly maintaining contact with the Demonic Sect 445.
Wei He’s bloodline experiments and Three Hearts Art eventually enabled massive transformations, extreme regeneration, heightened strength, and the ability to integrate acquired bloodlines. He returned to Great Yue after being presumed dead, accepted Emperor Dingyuan’s command of the Ju Sha Army, and used its formation to distribute the force of Golden Body True Beasts before releasing a five-million-jin burst 488 544 552.
Later years
After the decline of True Energy and the extinction of True Beasts, Wei He remained focused on preserving his family, followers, and the Xuanmiao Sect’s remnants 571 572. Decades later, he found his wife gone, his sisters elderly, and his son Wei An already sixty; with his family stable, he left to seek his own path 609.
He infiltrated Linzhou by taking Yan Yuxin’s identity through a modified Five Hearts version of the Three Hearts Art, using Yan’s heart and soul attributes to enter the Ling Clan unnoticed 610 611. In a later technological era, Wei He cultivated psionic energy, mastered body-frame combat, developed powerful pollution resistance through biological analysis, and rose from Storm Class to Illumination and eventually Fission 656 676 704 735.
Appearance
Wei He is broad-shouldered, heavily built, and initially stood around 1.9 meters tall. He has a square face, steady eyes, and a presence described as solid and intimidating 108. Later cultivation increased his ordinary height to roughly two meters and refined his physique into a more compact, proportionate form 534 542.
- Straight, sharp brows and a high nose bridge; his appearance is not conventionally handsome but carries a calm, deep presence 184.
- Long black hair, frequently worn loose over his shoulders in later years 150 184.
- Prolonged cultivation made his skin unusually fair at one stage; Black Goat bloodline enhancement later darkened and roughened it 184 499.
- His disguises have included masks, full-body hunting clothes, altered hair, beard, cosmetics, and plant-juice facial coloring 43 171.
- His awakened forms range from a five- or six-meter giant with horns and black musculature to a ten-meter white giant disguised as a specialized body frame 518 601 716.
Personality
Wei He is reserved, taciturn, and intensely diligent. Early acquaintances saw him as someone who disliked socializing and devoted nearly all of his attention to training 24 29. He is cautious about revealing his abilities, carefully preserves manuals in separate coded copies, and uses disguises or aliases when exposure would threaten his plans 57 171 304.
He places family security above reputation. His pursuit of martial power began with protecting Wei Ying, and his later cultivation, sect-building, and political decisions repeatedly stem from the need to protect his wife, children, relatives, disciples, and allies 3 266 387 571.
Wei He can be direct, practical, and unexpectedly blunt. He openly demands payment when it is useful, rejects empty pride, and treats favors as exchanges rather than abstractions 128 157 667. He is also willing to use poison, deception, intimidation, and lethal force against threats, which has made allies wary and enemies fear him 116 170 489.
Despite this reputation, he views his goal as stability rather than conquest.
“My intent is peace.” — Wei He 189
