Wei He's expression changed slightly. He shifted direction again, carving out an arc as he pursued the two of them.

But in an instant, an arm-thick white laser flashed past in front of him.

It blocked his path perfectly.

"Who!?" Wei He raised his head toward the source of the laser.

In midair, Taril and Meilan fled swiftly into the distance. Before long, they slowed and landed on a pure-black triangular spacecraft that had flown over.

The hatch on the side of the spacecraft opened. Body frame soldiers bearing the insignia of the Emergency Response Force and the seven-leaved giant tree national emblem flew out one after another.

Dozens of body frames formed up in dense ranks.

Two Illumination body frames flew out, followed by a final deep-blue siren Fission body frame.

The immense psionic reaction radiating from that siren body frame forcibly squeezed out half the space within the massive psionic suppression field Wei He had spread.

The siren body frame was the same model as Katri's, likewise Fission level. But the one before him had clearly been modified personally.

All the weapon modules on its back had been converted into amplified psychic art modules—blue diamond-shaped crystals floating in rings.

"This is the city's Emergency Response Force. I am Deputy Commander-in-Chief Tashel Longlan. Major General Wei He, you attacked nearby civilian spacecraft with a body frame for no reason. Are you deliberately disrupting the normal order and security of all Olga Star?"

The other party looked down on him from above, his tone calm and cold.

Clearly, Wei He's strength and status had not yet reached the point where Tashel needed to fear him.

If not for the school faction behind Wei He, he was merely a newly promoted Fission level.

The Longlan Family would not have cared either.
