The Cloudy Beasts lived amid a sparse archipelago shrouded in mist and clouds.
To ordinary people, this place was a barren wasteland where not a blade of grass grew, nothing but clusters of small islands.
Moreover, every one of those islands stood far apart from the others. They were wholly unsuitable for habitation.
Yet through the True Person vision granted by Wei He's supersensory perception, he could see that among the distant islands blanketed in clouds and mist, strange creatures covered in white bristles, like gigantic lice, were slowly moving about.
He had read the Great Moon Illustrated Compendium, so he recognized them. They were Cloud Lions—called Cloud Lions, but in truth, the name was merely a homophone for lice.
These true beasts were exceedingly troublesome.
Troublesome enough that even Grandmasters would not lightly provoke them.
This was because Cloud Lions themselves were extremely weak, but after death, their bodily fluids would inflict irreversible, devastating damage upon the environment.
Presumably, the islands here had been thoroughly ruined in just this manner by the Cloud Lions.
The land and environment destroyed by them could not merely no longer grow any plants; even touching it would cause highly acidic injuries.
Fortunately, Wei He did not care about the state of these islands.
"Is this the place you wanted to come to, Master?" Liu Chengxi asked softly as she stood beside Wei He.
But in her vision, there was nothing here. The islands were filled with stones, without even any soil.
What was the point of coming to such a place?
She looked at Wei He, somewhat confused.
Wei He smiled. "There are many things here. Once your perception reaches that level, you should be able to sense them as well. But I still need to consider how to arrange your future path."
