Mo Fan chuckled. He knew he had already piqued Mu Nujiao's curiosity. When a woman began to grow curious about a man, that was the beginning of her downfall!
He did not answer, instead searching for the Mimic Demon Beast.
The Mimic Demon Beast had taken a Level 4 Thunder Seal amplified by 3.5 times. Logically, it should have been badly wounded—unless it was a General-level Demon Beast!!
But even a General-level Demon Beast would definitely be injured by such a heavy blow.
This demon beast was so cunning that it would surely launch a sneak attack from the shadows or strike at a weak point. Mo Fan suddenly stiffened and turned to look at Mu Nujiao.

That damn thing actually dared to sneak attack my Jiaojiao!
Ghost Shadow
Mu Nujiao had long known that the Mimic Demon Beast was near her, so she had been gripping a defensive magic tool all along. Hearing Mo Fan's warning, she immediately crushed the protective pearl in her hand!!
Blue radiance flared out, and a layer of defensive spiritual light resembling a body of water enveloped Mu Nujiao. The instant she activated it, the demon beast's attack arrived.
Though the demon beast could not be seen, heavy ripples spread across the protective light. In that very second, Ghost Shadow pinpointed the Mimic Demon Beast's location.
There were no flashy skills. Ghost Shadow appeared beside it in a terrifying instant, then plunged both arms into the Mimic Demon Beast's body like spears.
Azure blood flowed out, and Ghost Shadow had broken through its demonic art!
The Mimic Demon Beast revealed its true form. It resembled a yellow-fanged tiger-leopard with ladybug wings, and its body was as large as four SUVs.
The spot Ghost Shadow had damaged happened to be the base of its wings. Azure demon blood streamed down its ladybug wings, while savage light shone from all six eyes of the winged tiger-leopard!
What the hell kind of demon beast was this? I've never seen one before, Mo Fan muttered inwardly.
Earth Forest: Prison
Mu Nujiao had not been much help earlier, but she had finally seized her chance. Her fair hands crossed, and beneath her slender legs and delicate jade feet appeared a magnificent dark-green star map.
A seed condensed from Life Aura fell to the ground, sending ripples spreading outward like a droplet falling into water. The moment it landed, a dramatic change occurred.
Mo Fan was dumbfounded. He had not expected Mu Nujiao to have mastered Intermediate Magic so early. After all, Mo Fan was a year older than her.
In other words, Mu Nujiao was still a senior in high school. She had mastered Intermediate Magic while still in her final year—was this the gap between Modu and Bocheng?
Of course, their circumstances were different. Mu Nujiao surely had Stardust magic tools to assist her, along with other resources, not to mention her own hard work.

The goddess Mu had unleashed her ultimate move, so Mo Fan had to get serious too.
Within two months of moving to Modu, Mo Fan had already brought forty-nine stars under control. He could now cast Level 1 Fiery Fist and Level 1 Thunderbolt.
As Mo Fan drew it, the violent Lightning Elements lined up like soldiers. As the star map was outlined, drawn, and carved, they formed the most brutal star map of all!

Everyone stared at the young man in the center with one hand raised toward the sky, their eyes filled with shock and awe.
The blood-red Thunderbolt fell into the Forest of Kun, and all sound vanished.
No one knew what had happened inside. Was that demon beast dead?
Only Mo Fan wore a knowing smile, because a full General Spirit Essence floated out of the Forest of Kun and entered the Little Loach on his chest.
"Hahaha, it's already taken care of!" Mo Fan gave Mu Nujiao a thumbs-up.
Sure enough, good people were rewarded. If I hadn't come today, a General Spirit Essence would have slipped right through my fingers.
Now, they only had to wait for the City Demon Hunter Squad to clean up the battlefield. Having dealt with two demon beasts, Mo Fan subconsciously reached into his pocket, only to find that he had no cigarettes.
Seeing this, the rich second-generation kid immediately understood what Mo Fan meant. He pulled out a pack of Little Dragons from his pocket and said with a smile, "Big bro, have mine first. Don't mind it."
"Fine. Guess I didn't save you for nothing!"
Mu Nujiao dispelled the Forest of Kun magic. Sure enough, the winged tiger-leopard imprisoned inside was already dead. More than half of its body had been blasted apart, leaving it stuck to the ground like a painting.

"Where are the demon beasts? Where are they?"
Just as Mo Fan was preparing to rekindle their past connection, a rough voice suddenly rang beside the three of them.
The three looked over and saw that the City Demon Hunter Squad had arrived.
"How is this City Demon Hunter Squad even less reliable than the police in Conan?" Ai Tutu complained.
Mo Fan and Mu Nujiao said nothing, but both gave Ai Tutu a thumbs-up.
"The demon beasts... the demon beasts have already been dealt with?"
The Bald Captain's gaze quickly settled on the two mutilated demon beast corpses. His expression turned incredulous. Only ten minutes had passed from the time they received the call to the time they arrived.
Two demon beasts had been dealt with in those ten minutes?
Especially when one of them was a General-level Demon Beast!!
"Baldy, aren't you ashamed of arriving so slowly?" Ai Tutu pointed at the Demon Hunter Squad captain, delighted to stir up trouble.
Where had this little brat come from?
The Bald Captain swept his gaze over them. Sensing the lingering magical aura on Mo Fan and Mu Nujiao, his eyes immediately turned cold. "You two killed these demon beasts?"
With a cigarette dangling from his mouth, Mo Fan replied casually, "We killed them. So what?"
"You two could kill a General-level Demonic Beast!!"
The Bald Captain sneered, his gaze full of contempt and coldness.
It was not that he did not believe them. He wanted to claim their credit, because if something like this happened, the City Demon Hunter Squad would be held accountable.
"I can prove that Sister Mu and this bad guy killed them together," Ai Tutu said loudly, raising her hand.
"This is none of your business. Get lost and stop obstructing official duties. This place is now under the City Demon Hunter Squad's control," the Bald Captain roared at Ai Tutu.
