Background / History

Mu Ningxue was recognized as Bo City's foremost genius, but she considered herself far behind Mo Fan in both strength and contribution during the Bo City crisis. Despite spending years in the Imperial Capital, she had no close confidants there and could speak freely only with him 64.

Early on, she was concerned for Mo Fan's safety and intended to gain control over her family's power within four years. She also openly argued that Mu family resources should go to Mu blood relatives rather than outsiders such as Yu Ang 2 4.

Her branch was later expelled from the Mu Clan because of Mu He's actions. The clan reassigned her National Government Team qualification to her cousin Mu Tingying, treating its past investment in Mu Ningxue as payment for her position. Mu Ningxue accepted the setback but resolved to regain recognition through her own strength and devoted herself to cultivation 148 152.

After awakening the Summoning Element, she traveled to Tianshan, studied Ice Magic under Qin Yuer, and progressed her new element. She passed the Heaven Scar Sacred Tiger's trial and contracted the Little White Tiger 186 199 206 207.

Pansi revealed that the Ice Crystal Brake Bow had been created through fragments nurtured by Mu Clan Mages' cultivation, draining the power of those who lost their fragments. Beneath that reserve, she is affectionate and more playful around Mo Fan. She once had a gentler childhood disposition, enjoying flowers, plants, kittens, and puppies; that side gradually resurfaces when she feels secure 119 183.
