The Thousand Xun Giant Eagle let out a long cry and prepared to attack, but Menglan Jun stopped it.
"Qian Xun, Sixth Elder Luo, please remain calm. If we fight them in the air, we could easily alert the Demon Beasts and Immortal Practitioners in the mountain range. We are very close to another squad of Luo Family disciples. They should be drawn here, and then we will be exposed."
Luo Liu knew that Menglan Jun would certainly follow Weiyun's lead, so he turned and asked, "What is Immortal Meng's wise counsel?"
Menglan Jun smiled faintly, merely waving the folding fan in his hand twice at the flock of Night Cry Crows before patting the Thousand Xun Giant Eagle on the head. "Qian Xun, lower your altitude."
Qian Xun obediently descended slowly. This time, however, the Night Cry Crows did not continue surrounding and attacking them. Instead, they circled in place and began attacking one another, as though they had mistaken their companions for enemies.
Only then did Luo Liu understand why Ranxi had sent Menglan Jun along with them. The descending giant eagle eventually landed atop a Giant Fir, indicating that another Luo Family squad was not far ahead.
In truth, Qian Xun did not need to remind him. Luo Liu's divine sense had already located the other twenty Luo Family members, though they were currently confronting another group.
After bringing the two of them to their destination, the Thousand Xun Giant Eagle prepared to take flight again, only for Menglan Jun to grab the tip of its wing.
