Wei Yunqing claimed the miniature city after following the Evil Soul’s guidance, while Yunxi searched a bamboo forest with Dian Dian and caught a bamboo spirit. The spirit asked Yunxi to save its grandfather.

• Wei Yunqing refined the Formation Pillar, took control of the miniature city, stored it in the Crimson Bracelet, and followed the other cultivators.
• Yunxi released Dian Dian to search the bamboo forest for strange scents and treasures, but stopped pursuing a treasure that led them in circles.

• Dian Dian told Yunxi that the attacking Li Chang was another Clone, and they reasoned that evil cultivators had helped him reach Spirit Transformation.

• Venerable Minghong told the gathered Venerables that Li Chang was a wanted former city lord who had used evil cultivation methods and asked the regions to send representatives to interrogate him.
• Venerable Linlang used her Soul Control Bell to pull Li Chang’s divine soul from his body, and discovered that an Exotic Flame had burned it.
• Yunxi emerged from a spatial passage behind the Beast Tide and saw that the third line of defense at the Outer Ring had fallen.

Yunxi and Immortal Spirit discussed the Realm Spirit’s scheme, then Dian Dian helped her track the source of the Demon Beasts’ corruption. While Yunxi found a red Evil Flower surrounded by mutated beasts, Buddha Son Yunchen, True Lord Hanlian, and Xun Kun True Lord prepared to break out and help her.

• Immortal Spirit explained that he had assessed the Realm Spirit’s condition so Yunxi could safely complete the mission and claim its reward.
• Yunxi brought out Dian Dian and asked it to locate the source corrupting the Demon Beasts; Dian Dian sensed the strongest Evil Qi and led her toward it.
