Yunxi advanced to the Immortal Lord realm and decided to travel with Menglan Jun and the Luo Family disciples to the Central Immortal Realm for the Grand Competition of the Five Regions. Before they departed, Menglan Jun explained why Luo Yiqing had been crippled, and Yunxi summoned Luo Yuemu to meet her.

• Yunxi broke through to the Immortal Lord realm, received congratulations from the Luo Family, and chose to attend the Grand Competition despite no longer needing to compete.

Yunxi and Menglan Jun investigated the white fog in Myriad Zhang Valley and were attacked by Insectoid larvae and supposedly extinct Heaven Leak Demon Vines. Yunxi enclosed the valley in her Purple Lotus Barrier as the Luo Family prepared to fight and Yunchen restrained Ruan Dai.

• Luo Yuemu took Ruan Dai to safety while the elders agreed to guard the Luo Family disciples and let Yunxi and Menglan Jun investigate.
• Yunxi and Menglan Jun suspected that Ruan Dai's escape and arrival had been suspicious, then entered the approaching white fog.

The chapter ended with Ziyan reporting that Black Beetle larvae were merging with the trapped practitioners’ souls and Taixu finding the vine’s roots.

• Yun Chen asked Luo San and Luo Liu to summon reinforcements, and both elders cracked their life tablets to alert the Luo Family.
• Yunxi used Menglan Jun’s advice to plan to find the vine’s master, roots, and crystal core, while Ziyan began clearing the mist and its larvae with purple flames.

• He Yu admitted his failure to approach Wei Yunxi, and his master ordered him to leave Waning Moon City ahead of the others and stop hiding his Celestial Immortal cultivation.

• Yunxi recognized the injured City Guard Song Ting as He Yu in disguise and let him board the ship to Central Immortal City.

• Yi Tu Immortal King brought Yunxi to Linyuan Hall, where she admired the Immortal Emperor’s extravagant palace and joked that he did not lack immortal stones.
