Chapter Summaries

Yunxi investigated the worsening situation in the Cave of Evil Malice, learned how Xun Kun had reached the Thirteenth Heaven, and asked Huoyu to search for information about the missing Artifact Refining Saint Master Tang Jihan. The chapter ended with Dian Dian telling Yunxi about a Purple Ginseng Spirit near the Illusion Sky Fox clan's territory.

• Huancang reported that the clan had gathered nearly all the refining materials Yunxi needed, but still lacked suitably aged Golden Jianmu Tree, and Yunxi urged him to hurry so she could prepare for the Tenth Heaven.
• Yunxi reviewed the Illusion Sky Fox clan's findings about Xun Kun, who had become God Monarch Du Ruo's attendant to reach the Thirteenth Heaven, then called off further inquiries into his whereabouts.
• Huoyu visited Yunxi, and she asked him to search his family's Universe Pavilion for clues about where Tang Jihan had gone and whom he had dealt with before disappearing.
• Huan Zhuo returned with Dian Dian, who told Yunxi about a fast Purple Ginseng Spirit near the clan; Huan Zhuo explained that the spirit lived in Tu Mountain and had been startled by them.

Yunxi received Huoyu’s records about Tang Jihan, then rushed to rescue Dian Dian and the Illusion Sky Fox clan’s young foxes from a hunter. She discovered that the hunter was a puppet whose memories had remained a million years in the past, and began probing his mind as the Purple Ginseng Spirit begged her to stop.

• Huancang told Yunxi that a madman was hunting the Illusion Sky Fox clan’s juniors, and Dian Dian sent her a cry for help.
• Yunxi appeared beside Dian Dian and sent the hunter’s net back at him, then questioned why he was hunting the nine-tailed foxes.
• Yunxi used Lili’s innate skill and recognized that the man’s aura did not belong in the God Realm; he identified their location as Echo Mountain.

Yunxi learned that the Purple Ginseng Spirit had trapped members of the Illusion Sky Fox clan to seek help reviving his master, Ning Jin God king. After bringing them back to her residence, Yunxi questioned Zi Xiao and used a Soul-Collecting Mirror to draw Ning Jin’s wisp of divine thought from the puppet, where it appeared as a man in blue robes.

• Yunxi broke off her divine sense when the man’s barrier tried to follow it, then examined the Purple Ginseng Spirit until he fainted.
• Huancang and the clan elders arrived, and Huan Yan asked to devour the Purple Ginseng Spirit; Yunxi instead ordered him to tend the clan’s medicinal garden.
