As the last line of small text appeared again, the note suddenly burst into flames in her hand without warning.
At first, Lena was startled and instinctively wanted to throw it away.
But she quickly discovered that the flames had no heat at all. They were merely burning and breaking down the paper.
After about a few seconds, the note that had appeared out of thin air vanished into thin air again, leaving behind not even the slightest trace of ash or residue.
If not for the faint burnt smell lingering in the air, she might have thought the pressure had driven her to hallucinate.
But upon further thought, this mysterious person had managed to bypass layers of security and deliver a message directly into her hands through some unknown method. Their abilities and methods were remarkably similar to those of the former "Project Insight," John Garrett.
