However, Kirsten Bartlein was still very weak at the moment, like a hatchling that had just broken out of its shell and desperately needed to absorb massive amounts of negative emotions and life force to strengthen himself.
That was precisely why he had not killed these ordinary people outright. Instead, he wanted them to fear in pain, despair in fear, and slowly die in despair...
Through this process, he could obtain the power he desired to the greatest extent possible.
