"Hey! Buddy! Remember me? Where have you been? Everyone thought you'd gone missing or died! You know, a lot has happened since our last mission ended. I lost my beloved hammer, and it still feels as fresh in my memory as if it happened yesterday. Oh, right, and Loki—he's sitting up there right now..."
Thor clearly hadn't realized the seriousness of the situation. Wearing a delighted expression, he tried to get chummy with the big green guy.
He had completely forgotten all those times he'd been suddenly punched away while they fought side by side.
In his eyes, this was the big surprise Allen had just mentioned.
And as long as he teamed up with Hulk, no force on this planet could stop them.
The moment Loki saw this from the VIP seats, a chill ran through his entire body.
Especially after Hulk followed the direction Thor was pointing and shot him a furious, savage glare, Loki felt even worse. He felt as though the green brute might rush up at any moment, grab him by the leg, and smash him wildly against the ground.
Just like he had done during the Battle of New York.
If one had to use a phrase to describe Loki's current predicament, being caught between a wolf and a tiger would have fit best.
Whether it was Allen nearby, the Grandmaster, or the fully armed and extremely dangerous Hulk below, any one of them could easily pin him to the ground and grind him into the dirt.
"You seem nervous?"
Allen knowingly asked as the corners of his lips curled into an amused smile.
"No! I just feel a little cold. Damn it! The wind must be too strong tonight." Loki hurriedly came up with an excuse.
A Frost Giant afraid of the cold?
