Allen's entire body was soaked in blood spurting from the wound. Ninety percent of his skin had been severely burned, and he looked like a cooked shrimp, his entire body surface a vivid red.
Yet for some reason, his internal organs had not been damaged by the extreme heat on the surface of his body. Instead, they drew some kind of power from the Dragonhawk God's blood and began mutating from within.
In just a few seconds, the burned areas stopped hurting. Instead, they became itchy and numb, then began to scab over, forming a thick membrane.
Inside that membrane, new muscles, skin, and blood vessels regenerated at an incredible speed.
Clearly, the blood of Gayle, the Dragonhawk God, seemed capable of granting people some sort of special power.
As someone who cultivated both magic and martial arts, Allen could clearly feel his control over fire elements improving. At the same time, vast amounts of fire elemental energy began gathering within his body and the greatsword clenched in his hand.
Unfortunately, his eyes were now completely covered by scabbed-over eyelids. He could not see what was happening outside at all, so he could only use every ounce of his strength to drive the greatsword deeper, letting as much blood as possible flow out to nourish his mortal body, which was on the brink of collapse.
But compared to Allen, outsiders saw an entirely different scene.
The enormous incarnation of the Dragonhawk God carried a human as it frantically accelerated, spun, dived, and even unleashed blazing flames hot enough to melt Thorium.
Yet no matter how wildly it struggled, the heavily wounded human clinging to its body showed no sign of falling off.
