As more and more of her body was eaten away, Luciela finally let out a roar of fury and terror.
She simply could not understand why Lafana was so obsessed with her. Everything about her sister's behavior suggested she intended to take them both down together.
Even with three or four Abyss Devourers hanging off her body, Lafana paid them no attention. Instead, she did everything she could to restrict Luciela's movements, making it easier for more devourers to swarm them and tear into both sisters' bodies.

With that, Lafana slammed her sister into the ground with a boom, opened her mouth, and bit down viciously beside her neck, tearing away a large chunk of bloody flesh.
