With Demon God-like power, Allen effortlessly obtained the "truth" he wanted from the mind of the colossal creature before him.
Or rather, that forgotten and buried history.
Just as he had anticipated, this world possessed a certain "prehistoric civilization."
However, that "prehistoric civilization" had not been created by humans, but by a group of Great Dragons with highly advanced intelligence.
The so-called humans were merely "inferior servants" accidentally created by them while researching magic and biotechnology.
They possessed neither long lifespans nor powerful magical talent and could only perform the most menial, least technical work.
After creating humans, the Great Dragons had even cast them directly into the wilderness to fend for themselves, forcing them to compete with all manner of beasts and other creations for living space.
Yet who could have imagined that this very group of disregarded humans would tenaciously survive in a perilous world and gradually master the power known as "magic"?
That was right!
Before the arrival of that terrifying catastrophe, this world had been a rather advanced magical world.
But as human civilization began to rise, it gradually came into conflict with the Great Dragons, the rulers and overlords of the world.
At first, those proud oversized lizards merely found it interesting and worthy of study that humans could master some clumsy magic through their own efforts.
It was much like how Earthlings, upon discovering apes that used tools, would conduct intelligence tests on them and attempt to teach them language and knowledge.
Some Great Dragons began recruiting human spellcasters as servants, teaching them relatively profound magical knowledge as well.
But what the Great Dragons never expected was that such actions would directly open Pandora's box.
Thanks to their unparalleled learning ability, humanity's magical prowess advanced by leaps and bounds.
By
