"Two-person synchronized operation? Not bad!"
Watching the commander unit land with exceptional grace, Allen immediately gave an impressed assessment.
You must know that the Baku was an MS model specifically designed for ground combat within an atmosphere, optimized for desert terrain.
Its greatest feature was its ability to travel at high speed across the ground without worrying about sinking into quicksand. At the same time, it could use the powerful grip of its tracks to perform all kinds of evasive maneuvers.
Everything had two sides.
Where there were advantages, there were naturally disadvantages.
The Baku's flaws were obvious. First, it could not fly through the sky like a Ginn. Second, once airborne, its maneuverability became extremely poor, making it little more than a living target.
Once it was knocked into the air and exposed its vulnerable underside, destruction would not be far away.
But the Desert Tiger's commander-use machine was clearly different from the mass-produced models. It had been fitted with two special jet engines.
With those two engines, the entire machine gained a certain degree of aerial mobility, turning capability, and the ability to rapidly adjust its orientation.
Moreover, the synchronization rate and coordination between the two pilots were practically perfect. There was no such thing as an "error."
"Hmph! I'm not going down that easily." Andrew Waltfield sneered in response over the public channel.
Although his previous probing had made it clear that he had no chance whatsoever against the super machine before him, which displayed extraordinary performance, he still possessed the pride of a warrior.
Quite the opposite!
The commander had already abandoned the idea of defeating Allen head-on. Instead, he planned to delay him by any means necessary, trading massive casualties for energy consumption.
As long as the machine's battery pack was drained during the intense
