Boom!
With an ear-splitting loud noise, Barros was instantly suspended from the enormous silver cross. Thick, long nails pinned both his wrists and the soles of his feet in place, making any struggle utterly futile.
The audience could not even see how he had been fastened to it.
Teleportation?
The power of rules?
Or extreme speed beyond the naked eye's ability to discern?
Not even Allen, the ability's user, was entirely sure.
That was the most unbelievable and unreasonable aspect of the Nen ability—Execution Cross!

"You... You actually completely altered the rules of Execution Cross?!" Barros stared wide-eyed, so shocked he could barely speak properly.
You must know that a Nen ability often required countless rounds of thought, exploration, and refinement from its inception to completion. This was especially true for rule-based abilities like this one—every alteration could create unforeseeable consequences or loopholes.
And once an opponent exploited a loophole, it could very well backfire on the user.
But now!
This boy had seized the ability and, in less than a week, redesigned the entire thing according to his own will. It was no longer mere
