Accompanied by a violent coughing fit, Garou abruptly sat up from the ground, his entire body trembling uncontrollably as large amounts of icy water sprayed from his nose and mouth.
Clearly, having just awakened, he was in an extremely weakened state. He could not even remember what had happened before he lost consciousness.
"Damn it! My head hurts so much! What's with this bone-chilling cold? I think... I was frozen?"
Garou lowered his head and stared at his soaked, bluish body, his mind falling into complete chaos.
But before he could make sense of anything, he saw a ball of light countless times brighter than the sun rise from the horizon. Immediately afterward, deafening booms and violent tremors came rolling in from afar.
The horrifying heat wave and shockwave instantly evaporated every drop of moisture in the surrounding area. His body was flung out of control, tumbling across the ground for one or two hundred meters before barely coming to a stop.
