Chapter Summaries

Rorschach and Iron Man David explored the alien spacecraft beneath the Black Sea and found Gemini, Leviathan’s leader, bound to a chair. Gemini offered concessions to negotiate, but Rorschach rejected the deal and opened fire.

• Iron Man David reported that Rorschach was beneath the Black Sea and found no nearby signs of life.
• Rorschach and David’s Auto-Servitor Robot advanced through the spacecraft toward its bridge.
• Rorschach entered a second metal hall and found a humanoid skeleton bound to a chair, whom he identified as Gemini.
• Gemini offered control of Latveria, Leviathan agents, and alien technology in exchange for terms.
• Rorschach accused Gemini of being consumed by the spacecraft, delivered Uvarov’s message, and fired the Necron gauss blaster.

After defeating Gemini, Rorschach discovered that the alien spacecraft was the Crimson Centurion and had Iron Man David take control of it. David teleported Rorschach near Harlin City, where the survivors were rebuilding Latveria.

• Rorschach searched the Crimson Centurion for an exit, then agreed to let Iron Man David try to control the ship through its towering chair.
• Iron Man David took control and learned that the ship lacked its core components and energy, and that its surviving records identified it as the Crimson Centurion.
• Rorschach asked David to activate the ship’s Teleportation technology, and David transported him near a port outside Harlin City.
• Rorschach told David to have Raditus investigate extracting the Teleportation technology and to consider sealing or destroying the ship afterward.

After Latveria’s liberation, Doom left Zola in charge and traveled with Rorschach to the Twin Islands Base for further study. Latveria raised its new double-headed eagle flag as Doom arrived at the base and learned he would face its intense training.

• Doom made Zola Latveria’s first female prime minister and ordered a pair of golden double-headed eagles added to the national flag at David’s suggestion.
• Doom told Zola he would follow Rorschach to his base, while David would support her remotely, and promised to return if Latveria needed force.
• Latveria raised its new flag over Doom City as the Valkyrie departed for Twin Islands with Doom aboard.

• Jessica explained that Magnan could refine minerals and revealed that it had demanded more candy for a newly discovered special mineral.
• Rorschach and Doom visited Raditus at the Forge Factory to learn about the mineral.
• Raditus presented Rorschach with a Power Sword forged from the special mineral and claimed it rivaled Necron Phase Swords.

• The Simulator warned Rorschach that its functions would stop unless he updated it after discovering five harmful substances, and he chose to extract Antarctic Vibranium.
• The Simulator began updating, and Rorschach put on Terminator Power Armour and took a Phase Sword to the base's core hall.
• Rorschach knelt before the unfinished Emperor Statue and prayed for relief from his unease.

• Rorschach concluded that the Planetary Governor and the Inquisitor were not willing to fully suppress the rebellion, and he asked how to reach the Upper Hive.
• Psyker Lucy explained that the passages and main elevator were blocked, while veteran Hassan suggested using a hover car to fly around the barriers.
• Rorschach ordered Corporal Hassan to lead them to the workshop, where Iron Man David found a luxury hover car and prepared it for flight.

• Iron Man David evaded anti-air missiles and crashed the hovercar into a church, where Rorschach saw psychic energy emanating from the Emperor Statue.
• Rorschach’s psychic wings and crown appeared, and Inquisitor Grendel’s Defense Force troops aimed their Lasguns at him while the Holy Army protected him from them.
