Ch. 464Saving the Weepers (2)!

Rorschach joined the Sanguinary Chapter's battle against the Orks and slaughtered his way through the horde with the Metal Ten Rings and Scythe of Blood. He destroyed two Killa Kans, while the Orks began firing at him from a distance rather than attacking up close.

  • Rorschach's forces arrived and opened fire on the Ork horde, giving the hard-pressed Sanguinary Chapter unexpected reinforcements.
  • Chapter Master Mal Katorin Forens ordered the First Company Commander to support their ally, but the commander pointed out that Rorschach did not seem to need help.
  • Rorschach used the Metal Ten Rings to cut down nearby Orks and searched the horde for its boss instead of advancing toward the Sanguinary Chapter.
  • Two Killa Kans charged Rorschach, who battered them with the Metal Ten Rings and severed one machine's limbs with the Scythe of Blood.
  • Rorschach endured a Killa Kan's circular saw without injury, knocked it down with the Metal Ten Rings, and killed its Gretchin operator before striking the other Killa Kan.
  • Rorschach continued slaughtering Orks with his weapons, and the remaining Orks kept their distance and fired their Shootas at him.

Ch. 465Saving the Weepers (3)!

Rorschach defeated an Ork Mega-armored Boss, helping the Sanguinary Chapter rout the Orks. After the Sanguinary Chapter recognized him as the 22nd Primarch, he offered to lead them and the rescued slaves to safety, but learned that nearly three million mortal slaves remained on the Death Mining Planet.

  • Rorschach froze the Mega-armored Boss with Frost Grenades and killed it with the Scythe of Blood.
  • The Boss's death panicked the Orks, and the Sanguinary Chapter and Rorschach's Intelligent controlled legion counterattacked and wiped out the remaining Orks.
  • Rorschach revealed black-and-red wings of light, and Chapter Master Forens and the Sanguinary Chapter recognized him as the 22nd Primarch.
  • Forens explained that the Blood Angels successor Chapters knew of Rorschach and would obey his commands.
  • Rorschach asked whether the Sanguinary Chapter had rescued all the mortal slaves and offered to lead them somewhere safer.
  • Forens said nearly three million slaves remained, and more survivors emerged from the nearby mines and gathered around the Sanguinary Chapter.

Ch. 466Saving the Weepers (4)!

Rorschach faced the challenge of rescuing more than three million mortal slaves with too few transports and a seven-day portal cooldown. He called on Calgar to send fleet support, then prepared to keep the refugees alive until help arrived.

  • Chapter Master Forens affirmed that the Sanguinary Chapter would protect the Imperial citizens, and Rorschach gave him a Phase Sword.
  • Rorschach learned that the Sanguinary Chapter lacked enough transports and could not use the Spatial Portal again for seven days.
  • Rorschach asked Forens about the expedition and ordered him to contact Calgar, its supreme commander.
  • Rorschach told Calgar he was the 22nd Primarch and demanded that he send fleet support to rescue the citizens.
  • Calgar angrily rejected Rorschach's claim, but Rorschach cut off the call and said Calgar's fleet would arrive as the group faced the Ork reinforcements.

Ch. 467Saving the Sanguinary Chapter (5)!

Rorschach and the Sanguinary Chapter prepared the mining stronghold to withstand the approaching Ork reinforcements, arming the Mortal Slave Warriors and building defenses. When the Orks launched an aerial and ground assault, Rorschach’s forces fought to hold the line as the battle intensified.

  • Iron Man David arrived with controlled legion soldiers, and Rorschach planned to hold the mining world until Calgar’s fleet arrived or the portal reopened.
  • Rorschach had the Sanguinary Chapter dig connected trenches while Iron Man David forged weapons and crude armor for the Mortal Slave Warriors.
  • Rorschach and the others armed the Mortal Slave Warriors, including volunteers among the women, while the civilians prepared for battle.
  • Ork transports arrived, and Rorschach ordered the civilians into the mines as the Sanguinary Chapter and Rorschach fired on attacking Deffkoptas.
  • Rorschach sent the controlled legion soldiers to hold off Ork troop carriers, while Abominants overturned vehicles and one detonated its Melta Bomb among the Orks.
  • Five Star Fortress Sentinels opened fire with Hellhammer Laser Cannons as Killa Kans appeared behind the Ork assault.

Ch. 468Saving the Weepers (6)!

Rorschach and the Sanguinary Chapter fought off repeated Ork assaults while facing dwindling food and water, and Rorschach discovered he could redirect the Black Rage’s psychic power. The chapter left the Mortal Slave Warriors roaring with newfound fury as the battle continued.

  • Rorschach used the Hellhammer Laser Cannon and his Metal Ten Rings to destroy a Death Guard Dreadnought threatening the Sanguinary Chapter’s line.
  • Sanguinary Chapter Astartes and Mortal Slave Warriors repelled Ork Kommando Boyz attacking a weak trench position, giving the defenders a brief respite.
  • Rorschach accepted a bowl of water from the Mortal Slaves, then discussed the defenders’ dwindling supplies with Forens and considered feeding the slaves Ork flesh.
  • When another Ork assault overwhelmed the trenches and some Astartes fell into the Black Rage, psychic feathers gathered around Rorschach and formed a vast black wing.
  • Rorschach flapped the black wing, sending its psychic feathers toward the Mortal Slave Warriors and triggering furious roars across the battlefield.

Ch. 469Saving the Weepers (7)!

Rorschach and the Imperium's forces pushed back the Orks with help from Mortal Slave Warriors suffering the Black Rage, while Rorschach fought toward the Ork Warlord. Falling wreckage from human and Ork ships forced both sides to break off their battle and seek cover, leaving the exposed Orks under bombardment.

  • Mortal Slave Warriors blessed with the Black Rage attacked the Orks, and the recovered Weepers Astartes rejoined the fight, pushing the Ork line back.
  • Rorschach fought through Ork gunfire by turning his Metal Ten Rings into a storm of blades and continued searching for the force's leader.
  • Rorschach charged the heavily armored Ork Warlord and traded blows with it using the Scythe of Blood and its Ork Power Fists.
  • Ship wreckage began falling through the atmosphere, prompting Rorschach and the Ork Warlord to stop fighting and run for cover.
  • The Astartes and most humans sheltered in trenches or mine tunnels while exposed Orks scattered beneath the falling debris.

Ch. 470Saving the Weepers (8)!

Rorschach and the Sanguinary Chapter fought an exhausting war of attrition against the Orks as reinforcements arrived on the Mining Planet. On the fifth day, Rorschach led a desperate charge to destroy a Gogorilla, but ended trapped between it and an Ork Warlord, with a second Melta Bomb activated in his hand.

  • Iron Man David and the survivors salvaged weapons and wreckage from fallen ships while the Sanguinary Chapter and Mortal Slave Warriors endured renewed Ork assaults.
  • By the fourth day, fewer than two hundred Astartes remained able to fight, and the Ork Warlord shifted to encirclement and attrition; Rorschach could not find the Warlord he had previously encountered.
  • Iron Man David warned Rorschach that more Ork Transport Ships had landed, and a Gogorilla advanced on the human defenses at dawn.
  • Rorschach led three Weepers Combat Squads in a charge, and the Astartes fought through the Orks until only one Combat Squad remained near the Gogorilla.
  • Rorschach threw a Melta Bomb at the Gogorilla and attacked the Ork Warlord, but the damaged machine seized and smashed him before the Warlord closed in.
  • Trapped between the advancing Ork Warlord and the Gogorilla's remaining claw, Rorschach activated his second Melta Bomb.

Ch. 471Saving the Weepers (9)!

Rorschach killed the Ork Warlord just as the Ultramarines-led Expeditionary Force arrived and turned the battle on the Mining Planet. After the fighting ended, Calgar’s forces surrounded the battered Weepers Chapter, and Rorschach challenged Calgar to verify his Primarch identity and defended the Weepers’ decision to protect the planet’s mortals.

  • Rorschach destroyed the Gogorilla and killed the Ork Warlord with Melta Bombs, plasma, and the Scythe of Blood.
  • The Ultramarines-led Expeditionary Force arrived, and its Astartes and aircraft drove the Orks back while the Weepers Chapter and Mortal Slave Warriors counterattacked.
  • Calgar personally joined the battle, and the Expeditionary Force sealed the Orks’ defeat before the Scythes of the Emperor hunted down the survivors.
  • Two Ultramarines companies surrounded the exhausted Weepers Chapter and Mortal Slave Warriors after the battle, prompting Forens to calm his warriors.
  • Rorschach told Forens to bring Calgar over, then challenged Calgar to verify his Primarch identity and defended the Weepers’ duty to protect the Imperium’s people.

Ch. 472Rescuing the Weepers (10)!

Rorschach arranged the evacuation of the Weepers’ survivors, made a secret agreement with Calgar, and brought 150 Astartes back through the portal to Twin Islands Base. There, he stopped a confrontation and began treating the wounded Weepers.

  • Rorschach ordered Forens to count the Weepers’ casualties and evacuate the surviving Mortal Slave Warriors; the tally showed nearly a hundred Astartes dead and more than 1.2 million mortals killed or wounded.
  • Rorschach told Calgar that someone would return in the distant future and agreed on a secret code phrase that would require Calgar to obey his orders.
  • Calgar arranged for the surviving Mortal Slave Warriors to be transported to Ultramar, while Forens gave Rorschach 150 Astartes, including the severely wounded, to take to Twin Islands Base.
  • Rorschach warned Forens to avoid garrisoning the Maelstrom and contact with the Night Lords Chapter, then departed the Mining Planet with Iron Man David and the 150 Weepers.
  • Rorschach stopped the Weepers from attacking the Intelligent controlled legion at Twin Islands Base, and Iron Man David entered everyone’s identities into the central system.

  • Rorschach inspected the Terminator armour components and planned to outfit the Weepers as a Terminator Company.
  • The Weepers joined the Gang dogs at the Training Ground and quickly learned enough local language to communicate.
  • Rorschach learned from two Apothecary brothers that training a qualified Astartes took five to ten years, even before accounting for surgical failures.
  • Rorschach told Iron Man David that he would seek Astartes from other Chapters, especially those from the Cursed Founding, to become his descendants.
  • Iron Man David warned Rorschach of an unusual situation at the circular plaza, and Rorschach realized the Great White Chapter had delivered the goods.

Ch. 474The First Mechanical Sage!

Rorschach questioned three Adeptus Mechanicus newcomers after Iron Man David subdued their mechanical construct, then set rules for their work at his base. Sage Neil agreed to join him and asked him to release her steel companion.

  • Rorschach and Iron Man David entered the plaza after Iron Man David seized control of the newcomers’ mechanical construct.
  • A Tech-Priest and an Enginseer explained that the Great White Chapter had brought them there against their will.
  • Sage Neil said she had come voluntarily after using Abominable Intelligence and consuming a rare repair tool drew her colleagues’ ire.
  • Rorschach forbade human experiments without his permission and required approval at a Roundtable Conference for forbidden research.
  • Sage Neil accepted Rorschach’s offer and asked him to release the restraints on her steel companion.
  • Rorschach agreed and directed the newcomers to meet Raditus.

Ch. 475Taurus Assault Vehicle and Repulsion Grille!

Sage Neil, Raditus, and Doom developed new technologies at the Forge Factory while Rorschach prepared the Sanguinary Chapter for an impending Chaos blessing. Their training and plans were disrupted when Iron Man David delivered terrible news.

  • Rorschach sent Sage Neil, an artificer, and a Tech-Priest to the Forge Factory, where Raditus welcomed them and was tasked with managing the recruits.
  • Sage Neil formed a Taurus Assault Vehicle prototype and production line, while Raditus's faction isolated her and Doom sought her advice.
  • Doom extracted Repulsion Grille shield technology from Sage Neil's Castellan robots and credited Raditus as a co-developer.
  • Rorschach changed the Sanguinary Chapter's armor scheme to half black and half white and divided its 150 Astartes into two companies.
  • Rorschach trained the Astartes and Weepers for the coming Chaos blessing, but Iron Man David brought news that disrupted their plans.

Ch. 476The Death of Madam Gao!

Rorschach investigated the assassination of Madam Gao, an influential leader of Imperial Heavy Industries, and traveled to the company’s headquarters to inspect the secured death scene. Silver Sable received him and began clearing the building, but the killer and motive remained unknown.

  • Madam Gao was killed by a sniper, and Rorschach ordered Iron Man David to assemble an escort and bring Natasha along.
  • On the way to America, Rorschach suspected the assassination was intended to provoke a conflict, while Natasha doubted Nick Fury was responsible.
  • Rorschach, Natasha, and the armed squads arrived at Imperial Heavy Industries’ headquarters on Staten Island.
  • Rorschach ordered the death scene inspected and the headquarters cleared, while Iron Man David disabled nearby electronic devices.
  • Silver Sable apologized for the death and escorted Rorschach toward the secured crime scene.

Ch. 477Loyalty That Isn't Absolute Is Absolute Disloyalty!

Rorschach arrived at Imperial Heavy Industries after Madam Gao’s death and massacred gang dogs and security personnel he deemed untrustworthy. He ordered David to summon an Astartes company, suspecting the company’s personnel were connected to Madam Gao’s death.

  • Silver Sable led Rorschach, Iron Man David, Natasha, and their troops to the thirty-eighth floor, where gang dogs were clashing with security personnel near Madam Gao’s crime scene.
  • Rorschach ordered the security personnel to leave, then seized the gang dog captain after David explained that most of the gang dogs had been away at training when Madam Gao died.
  • The Terminators killed the gang dogs and security personnel in the corridor, while the Stormtroopers restrained Silver Sable and others who tried to fight back.
  • Rorschach said he had detected weed on several gang dogs and declared them untrustworthy; he offered Silver Sable double death benefits, and she demanded triple benefits and Lasguns.
  • Rorschach ordered David to contact Doom and bring Sanguinary Company One to headquarters, saying he suspected Imperial Heavy Industries’ personnel were involved in Madam Gao’s death.

Ch. 478The Dead Are More Useful Than the Living!

Rorschach investigated Madam Gao’s sniper assassination and suspected a cloaked Quinjet had been used. He asked Natasha to have Hawkeye secretly check S.H.I.E.L.D.’s flight records, then attempted to recover memories from Madam Gao’s remains by consuming a fragment of her corpse.

  • Iron Man David determined that a sniper bullet from outside the window had killed Madam Gao, while Silver Sable reported that security had found no likely sniper position or suspect in nearby surveillance.
  • Natasha described the few people capable of extreme long-range shots, including Hawkeye, and Iron Man David confirmed that surveillance showed no matching target.
  • Rorschach suggested the sniper had fired from a cloaked flying vehicle, and he, Natasha, and Iron Man David considered whether a Quinjet had been involved.
  • Rorschach asked Natasha to persuade Hawkeye to secretly investigate S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Quinjet flight records, and she agreed and left to contact him.
  • Rorschach sent Silver Sable and the others away, then swallowed a dried fragment of Madam Gao’s remains containing Mind-Lock Scarabs to try to access her memories.

Ch. 479Dying Memories and Hawkeye!

Rorschach discovered that Madam Gao was killed by a sniper while her own gang dogs were preparing to assassinate her, and ordered the rebels purged. In New York, Natasha reunited with Clint Barton and warned him that S.H.I.E.L.D. risked provoking her new boss.

  • Rorschach examined Madam Gao's memories and saw gang dog confidants preparing to kill her before a sniper shot through the window and blew apart her head.
  • Rorschach identified the sniper's weapon as likely fired from a cloaked Quinjet and ordered Iron Man David to analyze the bullet and Doom to accelerate Sanguinary Company One's deployment.
  • Iron Man David reported that the gang dogs had been gathered at their Training Ground and that Sanguinary Company One had departed to purge the rebels.
  • Rorschach ordered the brainwashing of Imperial Heavy Industries' senior executives and considered assigning commissars to reinforce loyalty.
  • Natasha reunited with Clint Barton in New York and told him she had changed bosses and wanted to prevent S.H.I.E.L.D. from provoking her new employer.

Ch. 480Gang Dog's Doom!

Rorschach led Doom and the Weepers in an assault on the Gang dogs after David uncovered their renewed criminal operations and betrayal. The Astartes killed the resisting Gang dogs, and Rorschach executed a wounded survivor who had stood by while the others turned traitor.

  • David discovered that the Gang dogs had seized control of the American underground, monopolized Imperial Heavy Industries' smuggling routes, and resumed dealing in banned substances.
  • Rorschach dismissed David's guilt, then ordered Doom and the Weepers to attack the Gang dogs' training ground.
  • The Gang dogs fired lasers and heavy weapons at the advancing Astartes, who stormed the building and overwhelmed them.
  • Rorschach stopped the Weepers from shooting a wounded Gang dog, who asked why he was being punished despite his loyalty.
  • Rorschach condemned the survivor for failing to resist the betrayal and killed him with his Chainsword.

Ch. 481Rogers and the Assassination!

Rorschach consolidated control of Imperial Heavy Industries, replacing the Gang Dog designation and appointing Titania to administer the company. As Rogers visited the headquarters to investigate a firefight, a sniper fired at him, and Rorschach stopped the bullet with his Metal Ten Rings.

  • Rorschach memorialized the One-Armed Gang Dog with a silver skull and renamed the remaining Gang Dogs the Stormtrooper Legion.
  • Iron Man David used Hydra's brainwashing equipment on Imperial Heavy Industries' senior personnel, while Silver Sable and Eugene joined the loyal workforce.
  • Rorschach assigned Titania, protected by two Winter Soldiers, to administer Imperial Heavy Industries.
  • Rogers arrived at the headquarters with a muscular man and a suited monkey to investigate the firefight and asked how Natasha was doing.
  • A sniper fired at Rogers, and Rorschach formed a barrier with his Metal Ten Rings to stop the bullet aimed at Rogers's head.

Ch. 482The Punisher?!

Rorschach’s forces captured The Punisher after he tried to assassinate Rogers, but his claim that Rogers was the “Hydra Captain” left Rorschach and Doom stunned. The chapter ended with the mystery of who had sent The Punisher unresolved.

  • A sniper shot at Rogers, and Rorschach’s forces rushed to intercept the assassin while Rorschach saved Rogers and handed the bullet to Iron Man David for analysis.
  • Rorschach told Rogers that an agent had been assassinated and that someone inside S.H.I.E.L.D. might be responsible, while Rogers considered dismantling the organization.
  • Astartes captured the assassin and brought him to Imperial Heavy Industries headquarters, where Rorschach recognized the Punisher’s skull emblem.
  • Rorschach had Doom give The Punisher a panacea capsule so he could question him, and Rogers urged them to uncover the truth.
  • The Punisher denied serving Hydra and called Rogers the Hydra Captain who deserved to die.

Ch. 483Lies and Truths!

Rorschach used Doom’s enchantment and his genetic reconnaissance ability to investigate the Punisher’s claim that Rogers was a Hydra Captain. He discovered that Hydra agents Sitwell and Crossbones had fed the Punisher false intelligence to provoke conflict, though the plot against Madam Gao had ultimately stemmed from Rorschach’s own role in approving Pierce’s assassination.

  • Rogers demanded to know who had told the Punisher that he was Hydra, but the Punisher refused to answer and accused Rogers and the others of being Hydra remnants.
  • Doom used enchantment witchcraft to control Rogers, the Punisher, Duggan, and Killer Monkey so they could be questioned and investigated.
  • David brought Rorschach blood samples, and Rorschach examined Rogers’s memories before checking Duggan’s and Killer Monkey’s.
  • Rorschach examined the Punisher’s memories and identified S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sitwell and Crossbones Rumlow as the Hydra agents behind the false rumors and the attempt to turn S.H.I.E.L.D. against the Terra Astartes Legion.
  • Rorschach realized that Hydra’s plot against Madam Gao traced back to his support for the Inquisition operation that killed Alexander Pierce.
