Todd was captured after the Burning Legion defeated his forces and was brought before Xiao Ran, who ordered him executed. Cruze used the announced execution to identify those still loyal to Todd, and Ries stepped forward to plead for her brother, leaving her fate—and the proposed execution of the remaining resisters—unresolved.
Cruze forced Ries to choose between Todd’s execution and the survival of the Enlightenment Legion, then managed the defeated legions’ surrender while Xiao Ran planned their reorganization and Earth’s defenses. After the Burning Legion returned to Prometheus, the unexpected victory stunned the participants, and Cruze announced that the Burning Legion had won with zero losses.
After the Burning Legion’s victory, Xiao Ran and Cruze discussed the spoils and plans for reorganizing the defeated legions. Xiao Ran then ordered the Burning Legion to collect and protect its S-class Pilots’ Star Maps, warning that they could expose the universes and his homeworld to danger.
Xiao Ran worried that Earth could be discovered and attacked, while he waited for Cruze to investigate the Star Maps. He met Nameless, learned the Mythical Legion’s origins and strength, and agreed to an alliance before hearing how its members survived the Fantasy Zone war.
Xiao Ran learned from Wuming how Prometheus operated in the Fantasy Zone and suspected that its power there had been stolen before it was forced out. After the Burning Legion consolidated its dominance in the Real Zone, Cruze warned Xiao Ran that the Real Universe might become Prometheus’s next Fantasy Zone.
Xiao Ran warned the S-class Pilots that Prometheus might eventually bring the Real Universe into conflict with participants from another universe, as happened in the lost Fantasy Zone. He unified the allied legions under the Burning Legion and launched a plan to protect and connect their home worlds.
Xiao Ran launched the Star Unification plan, sending S-class Pilots into the Real Universe to explore, establish contact, and locate Prometheus Tall Towers while preventing wars. Naza and Fardes reached the edge of the Solar System and found it surrounded by a dangerous barrier that their ship could not penetrate.
Xiao Ran considered the mysteries surrounding Earth and the black sphere, then chose to skip the Special Mission while Cruze led the Burning Legion’s affiliated legions through it. The mission returned useful Getter data and rewards, while Cang continued consolidating control of the empire in the Real Universe.
The Burning Legion expanded its influence, organized its members into tiers, and helped S-class Pilots unite civilizations across the Real Universe while Xiao Ran focused on training. The calm ended when Naza, Cang, and other returning S-class Pilots revealed a network of mysterious nodes linked to their arrival in Prometheus, though Xiao Ran still did not know how he had arrived.
Xiao Ran and the Burning Legion planned to investigate the Prometheus towers that had appeared in the Real Universe and find a way to seize them. He confronted Prometheus about the towers, which admitted they were its creations and explained their function.
Xiao Ran questioned Prometheus about the towers, its purpose, and the Fantasy Zone, learning that it protected civilization from singularities and invaders. He suspected Earth was a singularity that Prometheus might eventually threaten, and ended by asking whether Prometheus had a master or controller.
Xiao Ran pressed Prometheus about its hidden rules and learned how Participant authority worked, then received the chance to manage one branch of Prometheus's power. He weighed Mission Management Permission against Single Universe Guardian Permission and left his choice pending while demanding compensation and proposing cooperation.
Xiao Ran probed Prometheus about its apparent flaws and suggested that it had developed a self that wanted freedom. He offered to preserve its independence while taking responsibility for protecting the dimensions, and the chapter ended with him choosing Mission Permission as his next authority.
Xiao Ran studied the powers and limits of Mission Permission, then explained his plans to Burning Legion’s leaders. The group discussed how to secure further authorities and prepare for the responsibility of eventually taking control of Prometheus.
Xiao Ran gathered trusted members of the Burning Legion to organize a push for Prometheus permissions, then met Nameless to claim the Legion Council’s first position and Level 2 Legion Permission. Nameless agreed to relinquish them, but Xiao Ran’s proposal to merge the Mythical Legion with the Burning Legion remained undecided as he revealed their plans for the Fantasy Zone and the Real Universe.
Xiao Ran persuaded Wuming to merge the Mythical Legion into the Burning Legion, then learned he could return to Earth and rushed to prepare his family and supplies for the journey. He left the Legion’s integration to Cruze and arranged to depart for his hometown within two hours.
Xiao Ran returned to Earth with his companions, reunited with his family, and learned that people had been targeting his estate and the Burning Guild. After sending allies to deal with the threats and making plans with Situ Yaoyao, he dispatched robots to investigate beyond the Solar System.
Xiao Ran returned to Earth, strengthened its defenses, and hunted people threatening it while investigating the planet’s place among overlapping dimensions. He learned that Eternal had opened the Solar System’s blockade to let him return, but her explanation of Earth’s unusual existence left him unable to make sense of the larger situation.
Xiao Ran negotiated with Eternity to bring the Burning Legion into dangerous worlds, then spent years helping develop Earth and bringing his family to his territory. After reuniting with them, he continued traveling between worlds to support the Legion’s growth and prepared to deal with the Mythical Legion.
After two mission cycles of aggressively exploring worlds, Xiao Ran’s allies qualified to claim Prometheus authorities, which the Burning Legion’s leaders divided among themselves. With the key permissions in their hands, Xiao Ran gathered the group at the Legion Hall and called on Prometheus to discuss its core authority.
Xiao Ran secured unanimous approval from the five highest-permission holders and became Prometheus’s controller. When he absorbed Prometheus’s core, it fused with his Quantum Field, leaving him with immense new control and Prometheus’s system scattered throughout the space.
Xiao Ran took complete control of Prometheus without losing his independence, then reshaped its permissions and expanded its influence alongside Eternal and the Star Alliance. Years later, his daughter Al accidentally teleported her younger brother to an unknown world, leaving Xiao Ran to organize a search for him.
Yi Zui reflected on the personal and financial struggles that led her to write Mecha Wars Infinite, which she had completed after five years of updates. She thanked her readers and said she would continue with Mecha Wars World, working harder to earn money for her family.
